ive really enjoyed my weekend with chickadee,we camped in the living room last night, yeah ok i was still on here at th eback of 12 this morning but to be fair i waited til she was asleep before venturing out the tent.
We went out to the edinburgh dungeons,i had free child entry vouches so it kind aworked out a cheap day, when you first go in you are ushered into a 17th centuary courthouse wher random people are brought to trial,i sat there hoping i wouldnt be asked to stand infront of all these strangers,i think the fact chickadee had a tight grip of me was enough fro the "judge" to leave me alone, your then ushered into another room to hear rhe story of william wallace, the story was beaten into me at school at a young age as probably all scottish school children are.You then walk through a labirynth of mirrors oh no got it wrong u walk throughthe mirrors before william wallace,ah the next part of the journey was the fire of edinburgh,i didnt really know much about that as i come from glasgow and the subject has never came up in any discussions.you then enter the anatomy section where it tells the tale of burke and hare, the actor who told the story was great and chickadee got hit with flying intestines which she thought was awesome, from ther eyou go on a dark boat ride to sawney beans cave, must admit i screamed when someone touched my head on the boat from above and managed to frighten chickadee who quickly cuddled in and never let go of me from ther on in,metting with the vampires was good the sctress looked liek a miniture amy winehouse and crept up on chickadee, one of the swanney beans family then whispered in her ear that feart children tasted best,i now have bruises on my arm from where chickadee really did grab me ha ha.and then the torture chamber, wher they showed you all the device they used back then, and can i just say they looked more effective than asbo's.and finally the gift shop, managed to get away with chickadee settling for a pen and note book which still cost a small fortune but hey ho it was a girls day out and i put money aside for it all,oh and we also got our photos taken in the stalks so had to buy that for the memory box,all in all it ws a great day out and the fact it took 2 train trips to get there made it feel as if it lasted longer.
Oh n another thing or 2 i ws so brave this morning and got rid of a huge spider now it really was huge i normally call ickle spiders huge but this thing even made a noise when it hit the bottom of the tumbler,im petrified of spiders so this was a big deal for me
